Yay! So I’ve recently become more interested in makeup! I’ve always been pretty lazy about my makeup outside of cosplay—it was day for celebration whenever I spent more than 2 minutes in the morning blotting my face with oil absorbing sheets before walking out the door…but that’s changed. ^_^ (It’s probably because I’m aging, meep! Must camouflage age lines with makeup!)

With that, I’ve hauled some Korean makeup products, which I’ve heard are both affordable and good quality!

Here are the products in order and the approximate price you can expect to purchase them for:

  1. iPhone 5 case and wallet – $10
  2. Holika Holika Aqua Petit Jelly B.B. (Shade #1) – $12
  3. Secret Key Snow White Milky Pact – $13
  4. Innisfree Eco Flower Water Tint (Rose) – $7
  5. Etude House Kissful Tint Chou (Shade #4) – $6
  6. Innisfree No-Sebum Mineral Powder – $6
  7. Missha The Style Fitting Wear Makeup Base(Lavender) – $15

I bought my products from eBay, Amazon, and various Korean makeup sites.

I was particularly interested in two of these products; Snow White Milky Pact and Missha The Style Lavender both promised to wash out my skin to a super duper pasty pale white which I needed for my Rei Ayanami cosplay. The others are all for daily use.

I will be reviewing all the makeup products slowly as I go through them. ^_^

For now, I’ll leave you with a review of the iPhone 5 wallet/case I bought. I wanted something to hold my ID, badge, and cash at anime conventions—I abhor lugging around a purse and this is far less conspicuous! I bought mine on Amazon. (You can do a quick search and there are many sellers who stock this type of phone case in other designs.) Check it out. =)

The colors are really cute! I love multifunctional phone cases like this! My phone fits in it securely and the card slots are perfect for carrying around a few items. You can’t fit in too much cash, but I squeezed in 3 twenty dollar bills and it was fine along with my ID, credit card, and badges.

The magnetic clasp holds everything together and I love the wrist strap! It’s awesome that I don’t have to worry about holding it or forgetting it as I place it down somewhere while I go stalk cosplayers for photos, yay!

I think the best and most unexpected bonus is the stylus that it comes with. This is incredibly useful for me because a lot of characters in my cosplay repertoire have gloves, argh! Damn you gloves, thwarting my ability to unlock the phone screen. So this is much appreciated! And I can clip it to the side of the case when I’m not using it.

In short, I love this case. =)
